How do I book a taxi with WeGo Taxi? â–ŧ
Simply visit our booking page, enter your pickup location and destination, choose your preferred vehicle, and confirm your booking. The entire process takes under 2 minutes. You can also book directly via WhatsApp at +94 71 658 5504.
How far in advance should I book? â–ŧ
We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability, especially for airport transfers and long-distance trips. However, we also accommodate same-day bookings depending on vehicle availability.
Can I modify or cancel my booking? â–ŧ
Yes, you can modify or cancel your booking by contacting us via WhatsApp or email. Please refer to our refund policy for details on cancellation timeframes and refund eligibility.

What payment methods do you accept? â–ŧ
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through our secure iPay payment gateway. You can also choose to pay cash directly to your driver at the end of your journey.
Is online payment secure? â–ŧ
Absolutely. All card payments are processed through iPay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway with 256-bit SSL encryption. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
Are prices in USD or LKR? â–ŧ
Our prices are displayed in USD for international customers. When you pay by card, the amount is converted to Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) at the current exchange rate shown on the booking page. Cash payments can be made in either USD or LKR.

Do you provide airport pickup and drop-off? â–ŧ
Yes! Airport transfers are one of our most popular services. We cover Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (HRI). We also do hotel-to-airport drop-offs.
What if my flight is delayed? â–ŧ
No worries at all. We monitor flight arrivals in real-time and adjust your pickup time accordingly. There is no extra charge for flight delays. Your driver will be waiting when you arrive.
Will the driver meet me at the airport? â–ŧ
Yes. Your driver will be waiting at the arrivals exit with a name board (paging board) displaying your name. You can add a paging board to your booking for just $5 during checkout.

What types of vehicles do you offer? â–ŧ
We offer a range of vehicles to suit every need — from compact sedans for solo travellers to spacious SUVs, vans, and luxury vehicles for larger groups. All vehicles are air-conditioned, well-maintained, and regularly serviced.
Do your drivers speak English? â–ŧ
Yes, all our drivers speak English and are trained to provide professional, courteous service. Many also speak Sinhala and Tamil.
Do you offer city tours and multi-day trips? â–ŧ
Yes! We offer city tours in Colombo, Kandy, Galle, and other major cities. We also provide multi-day packages for tourists who want to explore Sri Lanka with a dedicated driver. Contact us via WhatsApp for custom tour packages.
